I still haven't found any song from Joko Kanno (菅野 よう子) that I don't love. All her solo compositions and the ones she does when she's in The Seatbelts (シートベルツ) [wiki] are amazing. All the anime-soundtracks she has composed blows up my mind (Wolf's Rain [wiki], Ghost In The Shell [wiki], Cowboy Bebop [wiki], ...). I would like to be in one of her concerts, but Japan is so far from Spain...

As you already know (if you've followed this blog), I don't like Hip-Hop quite much. But this song... is special. Maybe because since the first time I heard it on radio when I was young, I loved it.

The original music video was really funny [YouTube link], but I wanted to post this one: it's from a Dj Shadow [wiki] live session. He suddenly stops his electronic session and puts this song, while the original band is singing it and he is mixing and scratching. Great idea.

Snow Patrol - You're All I Have

Do you believe in love at first sight? After listening this album... I do. I thought it could be difficult for them to improve the hight quality exposed on their previous album, but this defies anything I could imagine about what they could be able to do. The hole album, from the begining 'till the end, is just incredible (and I take no risk when I assure that this will be one of the '06 most selling albums).
